Postponed! – Hearing on proposed new 4 family house

The anticipated hearing today was a washout! The developer’s council requested an postponement because of a new report he received today so didn’t have sufficient time to prepare before today’s meeting.

An new date of September 26th has been agreed and the applicant agreed to update the public message board outside the property and send out normal mail messages to all those within 200 feet of the development.

Clearly there are going to be changes to the proposal, but we will have to wait to find out what.

We thank the many people who turned out either online or at the public Zoom meeting outside 745 N 6th Street. We also appreciate the many comments and forms completed by local residents. We hope to see you all again in September.

Many of you might not have realized our street was re-zoned recently and is now zoned

A new 4 family house no built in parking on our already extremely congested street is ridiculous. Most families have to park their cars on N7th by the warehouse! This wouldn’t be fair for any of us.
